Pintar Rapido Glasgow: 15th-16th August 2015

Pintar Rapido Glasgow

Pintar Rapido ('Paint Quickly') is Europe’s largest outdoor painting festival, competition and exhibition. It has already inspired artists from cities all over Europe (including London and Amsterdam) to leave the studio and paint outdoors en masse and from 15th-16th August 2015, Pintar Rapido will be hosted by the thriving city of Glasgow!

Pintar Rapido is the brain child of Roger Beckett. Whilst on a trip to Horta De Sant Juan in Catalonia, Roger observed a small local festival in which painters would paint local scenes and then hang their works up to be judged by the mayor. Inspired by the sense of community that the festival instilled in the locals, he decided to bring this concept back to the UK and so Pintar Rapido was born.

Artfinder is very proud to be sponsoring Pintar Rapido Glasgow, with the chance for one entrant to win the £1000 Pintar Prize.
