The original drawing for this painting was done in February, after my birthday and a gift of roses. There was snow outside, yet sunshine and the roses were starting to wither.
I wanted to capture the moment, the frailty and the light.
The gallery-wrapped sides are painted, it is wired to hang, and ships in a box.
